The Choco Protein Shake Kelsey Swears By
Hershey's Cocoa Powder (3 tablespoons)
Whey Chocolate Powder (1/2 scoop) We use "Designer Protein" on Amazon or Trader Joes.
Frozen banana (1x). Toss in the microwave, literally no plate. Heat 0:30 then peel into blender.
Nut Butter (1-2 spoonfuls). We use Jif Extra Crunchy, but the organic stuff is great too.
Almond milk (1 cup)
Ice cubes (2-4)
Pecans + almond slivers (topping)
We use this Nutri Bullet or this Nutri Bullet to blend.
Blend it all for 30 seconds...
...and top it with cocoa + heart-healthy nuts of choice 🌰🥜
This recipe is super customizable too. For example--don't like peanut butter? Try almond. Don't like banana? Swap for avocado and/or shaved coconut.
This shake truly satisfies chocolate cravings without the excess sugar, and the protein keeps you full and ENERGIZED longer than breakfast bars and other quick snacks.
